Other Details to Note

We do have a shower for our guests on the property located a short distance in our greenhouse adjacent to our coffee shop, the koffie knechtion. The shower is seasonal (based on Nebrask winter) usually open March- Nov , possibly December. Off season our gueats are welcome to arrange to utilize our guest bath in our home.

please remove shoes upon entering the Shire of Covington. we take great pride in our 100 plus yr old floors in our entry way and steps, and pref our rugs be free of put door debris & pollutants. THANK YOU

We stayed at the treehouse on the property a few years back (also highly recommend) and couldn’t have picked a better time of year to return the Hobbit House - the flowers and greenery were in full bloom and it was even more spacious inside than expected. We had a fun relaxing night and would return to any of their properties in the future.

Staying in a hobbit house was like stepping straight into the pages of The Lord of the Rings. My husband and I had the coziest and loveliest stay at this Hobbit home. Having been to Hobbiton in New Zealand, this place brought back so many sweet memories. The hosts did a fantastic job with this place, had excellent communication, and made check-in and check-out a breeze. 🧙‍♂️

After staying in the treehouse a couple of years ago, my granddaughters begged to come back to the Hobbit House! It did not disappoint! What a whimsical place! From the round door, to the snowshoes, to the oil lamps, to the stone fireplace! It was cozy, peaceful, and so unique! Loved it! We will be back! Maureen and Darwin were great hosts!

I absolutely loved this stay - one of my favs! The “hobbit home” was cozy and surprisingly spacious! - We only had to duck when entering the front door and bathroom door. 😆 It was fun to explore the home and all its unique decor. The Christmas decorations were a lovely touch as well. We enjoyed playing games by the fireplace and the overall peacefulness of the home. It was perfect for a get-away close to home! Definitely recommend for those who love LOTR! We will be back again! Thank you!

One of the most unique air b and b's in the world! Cool! Close to Tyson and Hard Rock. Hosts are very cool and easy to teach! Neat tree house next to it might be a fun option as well!
