We stayed at the treehouse on the property a few years back (also highly recommend) and couldn’t have picked a better time of year to return the Hobbit House - the flowers and greenery were in full bloom and it was even more spacious inside than expected. We had a fun relaxing night and would return to any of their properties in the future.

My daughter and her husband stayed here on their wedding night. It was a surprise for him and he was thrilled to stay in the hobbit house. Very unique and quaint

This was an amazing experience for us. Quiet yet easy to find and close to shopping if needed. Walk in check in. Loved the rustic room and patio. We will be back to stay again!

This was a nice weekend getaway for the family to celebrate my birthday. Easy check in, fun thematic stay, and a nice breakfast cafe just a walk away. Will definitely stay again.

We were so happy to find somewhere fun to stay while staying near home. The treehouse was such a great experience and we would love to come back someday to stay in the Hobbit Hole! What a lovely residence and couple. Maureen & Darwin are great hosts! They make a mean latte & strawberry-rhubard muffin as well. What more could you want?

We celebrated our 48th anniversary at the treehouse. It was on our "bucket list" to stay in a tree house! The tree house was an amazing feat of engineering. Each level had a place to sit and enjoy the surroundings. It is close to the highway - but not a problem. Close to Walmart and HyVee and food. We chose to go on a few walking trail suggested by Maureen (coffee shop) and they were perfect. The inside of the treehouse is very small and rustic, just enough room for the comfy queen size bed. It has a microwave and mini fridge. We woke to squirrels chattering and birds singing - just so fun. Enjoyed taking to Darwin about the treehouse and property. And the coffee shop served breakfast included with the stay. Great coffee! It as a relaxing stay.

Staying in a hobbit house was like stepping straight into the pages of The Lord of the Rings. From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by the round door, the grassy roof, and the cozy, rustic charm that oozed from every corner of the space. Whether you’re a Tolkien fan or just looking for a unique getaway, staying in this hobbit house is an absolute must. We left feeling relaxed, inspired, and a little reluctant to return to the real world.

My husband and I had the coziest and loveliest stay at this Hobbit home. Having been to Hobbiton in New Zealand, this place brought back so many sweet memories. The hosts did a fantastic job with this place, had excellent communication, and made check-in and check-out a breeze. 🧙‍♂️
